Mini Tac (Cold Steel)

That little Kiridashi and the Beavertail look to be neat little knives for
chores. If not on the neck, around the house, I'm thinking of shoving
them into my back pocket. They look to be nice and lite which is a
plus.
Does anyone have any and if so how do you like? Thanks.

I have a couple of the beavertail versions. Thin full tang blade, very sharp. Good for slicing as long as it is not a thick grabby material that will friction grab the wide blade. Handle is small but gippy, good protection for preventing finger slide onto the cutting edge. Knife clicks into the sheath for a secure fit. Overall a good little blade.

I love my Mini Tac Tanto. I carry it around my neck pretty much all the time. I'm not a huge fan of tantos, but the handle is excellent. The G10 is very grippy, and the little subhilt works perfectly for me. On mine, at least, the fit and finish is good. The edges are rounded and it's very comfortable. The sheath is pretty much perfect. It has great retention, a drainage hole, and it comes with a bead chain lanyard.

Hey guys thanks for your replies and thoughts. I'm going into town tomorrow where I
probably will pick up the beav and kiri.
