This isn't really my regular stomping grounds on BF but I thought you guys would get a kick out of this. I'm hanging out in my local Brick'n Mortar Knife shop and I see a Cold Steel Vietnam Tomahawk laying on the other side of the counter, well I enjoy VIP Privelages over there so I wandered around the other side of the counter and pulled it out and decided to play around with it. I'm not hacking anything or even making any really quick snap motions with it. I'm just sort of lazily going through a few lines of attack at about half speed when the head starts to rattle a bit. I've played with it maybe sixty seconds and the thing is already loose. Well on most axes and hawks the handle is thicker towards the top right? I grabbed hold of the head and pulled head and handle in opposite directions to try and tighten it. Again I'm not really pulling very hard. The head of the hawk slid about 1/2inch off of the shaft, I damn near wet myself. The head was about halfway OFF of the handle. I quickly passed it back to the store owner who shrugged it off and tossed it back behind the counter. I just thought you guys would appreciate that.
