Hey Folks.

I'm new to the Cold Steel world. I've only owned 7-8 models, but recently I purchased a Black Talon 2. This has been the most comfortable IWB knife with that big of a blade that I've ever carried. It disappears, as well, it has the Sharpest blade out of box that I've ever used. That CTS-XHP blade is amazing.

So I've tried the New versions of the Talwar, TI-Lite, Swift II (blade was to short), Voyager XL tanto, Recon XL and 1, but none of them carry so impressively as the Black Talon 2.

Obviously the BT2, isn't a hard use knife and is single purposed so it doesn't have to be overbuilt like the other knives mentioned. But the question!

Does Cold Steel make another Folder with a 4 inch plus knife that is as thin and light as the BT2? (Pref with CTS-XHP)?

Or

Are there any other knives that are thin, light and longer bladed that would fit in that category?

Thanks in advance, and please bare w/ my noobness. :)

^yep. agree.

check out the kudu...big blade, light, cheap and fairly strong.

I actually Just ordered the Kudo. It was that or a Opinel. Just for tooling around. Super great price on an all around user.

I'll take a look at the Broken Skull, seems to be really light. Time for the Due Diligence.....

it's a darn good knife for the low price. i carry one in my back pocket sometimes...

maybe consider waiting for the bladehq 45 buck sale to maybe happen again. don't bother signing up for the email me, as i have never gotten an email yet from then when i used that website feature. just have to check once a day or so. worth it though to save 20 bucks or so.

Cold Steel Code 4 also would be an awesome choice. Personally i think it looks better than the Broken Skull and doesn't have "billboard advertisement" on the blade

If you like thin handle and long blade, another recommendation is holdout, and you can have 4" or 6" one.
