Nice. I had a Norse hawk way back when and the head didnt fit at all, slid off the bottom of the handle constantly. It also didnt come with the screw, maybe they didnt put one on these back then. Anyway Ill probably get another one now. :thumbup:

I removed the splintered wood resting against the head, and sanded down the end. I have a nice snug fit now. I also stained the handle with "Espresso" from Minwax. It turned out really nice. I have gone a little machete crazy, but have not gone hawk crazy yet........

I also think that te Norse Hawk is, by far, the BEST hawk ever (and i also got a Riflemans and a trail hawk, and I really use my hawks a lot).

hmm. good idea for deep woods noobs who get lost to find it.

well at least you learned something about the man. dude is tenacious. or was it that sharp.
