I think it's interesting when publishers put recognizable knives on book covers. Ever since an Emerson CQC-7B appeared on David Morrell's novel The Protector, I've kept an eye out for others. It's rare, but it does occur.

In the case of Cold Steel, it's not just knives. Many of the company's products have graced the covers of books over the years. Here are some that I've observed.

Please add any others that you may find. As photogenic and eye-catching as it is, I have to believe that somebody, somewhere has used the Tanto on a book cover in the past forty years.

Hock Hoccheim's book "Knife Fighting Encyclopedia" has what looks like a 1990s XL Voyager Tanto on the cover.

Richard Ryan's book "Master of the Blade" has a drawing of what looks like an original Tanto/Master Tanto on the cover.
