I'll be there with my friend Tim.
Looking at the Recon 1 black.
I have the older Recon 1 Micro drop point..love this knife. Looking to try out his big brother as well as looking at the AK-47 Fixed blade.

I was going to go until I read a post on this very forum where some one recieved an e-mail from Cold Steel stating that the new San Mai blades would not be in stock until mid summer. The primary purpose of making that long drive, five hours each way, would be to check out the new knives in person. Been to a few parking lot sales in the past and have always enjoyed myself.
 
I'm on the other side of the country, so there's no chance that I can get there, but if you can get a Mini Recon in XHP for me, I'll gladly buy it.

Exactly what I'm looking for. I don't know if CS makes the 3" Recon anymore but if I find one in XHP, you got it.
 
wish i could attend...but im about as far away as you can get from cali in the states. if y'all have time and can.......please take some pics so we can enjoy through y'all. thanks.
