Cold Steel Peace Keeper in Carbon V?

Hi!

I was 'away' from the knife world a couple of years and came back (even if I mentally never left!) rather recently. I noticed the Cold Steel Peace Keepers I and II, and thought they looked like decent daggers. I also thought, what a shame they don't come with coated blades, but now it seems they do, or at least did. Are the peace keepers discontinued alltogether? Are the Carbon V black blade ones an earlier model? Where can I get a peace keeper II with a black Carbon V blade at a reasonable (low) price?

As far as I recall, the Carbon V peacekeepers were discontinued and replaced with a stainless steel.

I tracked down a minty Carbon V Peacekeeper I for a reasonable price mainly by checking on ebay, checking here and putting out feelers. Didn't take too long.

Nice knife. Wish I hadn't given it to my BIL for X-Mas.
