I've been considering buying the stainless version from 1sks.com, as I've been unable to find another 'functional dagger' under 70$ ( the only other was a Lewis International, but too fragile a point and not enough belly ), do you feel that it's worth it? Also, is 420 shatter prone under hard use?
thanks.

Mine has taken all kinds of abuse, from being thrown at trees to digging arrows out of wood, it's still good. I'd say 420 is a tough steel, if not a very fancy one.

any jiggly handle issues?

only bringing it up because of Cliff's review on the Trailmaster - "after just a couple of weeks of use the handle bond started to fail and the grip could be rotated around the tang "

I used my peacekeeper 2 quite often and I never had a jiggle issue, it held its edge pretty well too.
