Hi,
which one could be a better all-around knife and a bargain for his price?
Do they are really similar or one of them is superior?

I see that a lot of people doesn't like CS, is that a fact of prejudice or it is something else?

Thanks.

I like the F1 over the CS, I've handled both and the CS wasn't bad really, but I like the extra little bit of blade length on the Fallkniven, and it also has better fit and finish from what I could see. I also prefer VG-10 over VG-1.

I have the F1, but I haven't used it. The F1's reputation is indisputable, and it does seem like a damn fine knife, but I don't need the convex edge and won't maintain it (I use a Tri-Angle Knife Sharpener), am not too impressed with the handle material, and don't care for the plastic sheath. I'd save yourself $40-$50 and give the CS Master Hunter a try.

Pay no mind to anyone who bashes Cold Steel, just to flap their lips.

I own an S1 Fallkniven , if the F1 is anything like my knife I say get it !

Thanks to all,

so, it seems that the F1 is a very good knife but actually it is at least twice the price of a PH.

If the PH is good enough, I think I'll give a chance to it.

Is it good enough? Anyone owns it, and I mean Pendleton Hunter, nor the mini or the master or the lite, and can tell me something about?

Sorry for these questions, but it's not simple to find accurate reviews of this knife, while of the F1 there's plenty of it.

Thanks again.

I use the Pendleton Hunter each year...... great deer knife...... have kept in my pack for several years now....

I own an F1 and the Pendleton. Both are good knives. My first choice for an alternative to the F1 would be the CS Master Hunter as it has a longer blade , flat grind and slightly bigger overall size than the Pendleton. The Pendleton will work ; I just think the Master Hunter's size is more versatile.

If budget and price permits I'd say get the F1. If not , I'd get the Master hunter. It makes a great all-around bush knife as well.

The F1 , Pendleton , and Master Hunter are my most favored stainless bush knives that I have.
To pick only one I'd get the F1 , although I think it's slightly over-priced.

Ok, guys I took my decision.

Even if it's more expensive I've chosen the F1. I need a reliable knife, good for anything in survival/trekking/hiking/cooking tasks, not only a good sharp blade for
hunting and game. The length of the blade sure is a critical point, but I must admit that also the design of the knife was an important factor that I couldn't ignore.

Thanks to all, as soon that I'll get my new knife, I'll post some pics, if you want.

I dont know or not sure or not know how big the scope when u mention about the allround knife. For me most all the survival knife or tactical knife is not a good allround knife. But I always carry my F1 for trekking, camping, fishing in the primary remote jungle river.....I just love the look of the F1 and the Fallkniven brand.

But in my opinion my SOG Seal Pup and my Mora Allround is more allround knife compare to the F1.... but these knives are always inside the box.

Now, I'm waiting my Knives Of Alaska Bushcamp.....just bought it from ebay. Good review from cabelas as a allround knife..... and it will be at my side with F1 in my next trip to Borneo jungle.
