Cold Steel Pendleton Hunter

I like mine. It has some interesting ergos that make it just a little different from a lot of drop point hunters. The handle looks big for the knife, but most experienced hunters will tell you that you do not need a giant knife for field dressing. Very grippy kraton like the CS Master Hunter, and the steel & heat treatment are good on my knife.

There are a couple of YouTube demos for the knife (produced by Cold Steel).

I have been carrying a couple of different knives hunting this year with my longbow. Mostly puuko style knives. Truth be told none come close to my old Master Hunter. None of them. I also do like the mini pendleton hunter I own. I am not one for neck knives at all but if I was going to wear a neck knife the mini pendleton would be it. Enough handle to grip well and the knife is a razor for cutting. I would think that if I had a piggy back sheath made for my MH and the MP it just might be the best woods combo I could think of. keepem sharp

We have a Pendleton Hunter on the boat. I think it cost around $10? Nice knife for the money - simple, but effective. And if it rusts out or goes overboard we can easily replace it.
