Cold Steel Pole Axe

I am one of the few, I think, owners of the Cold Steel Pole Axe. It's about the sweetest thing out there as far as bang for your buck. The thing is tougher than crap! With shipping it was about $90. You have to assemble it and wielding it takes some getting used to, but I now know why it was such a loved knight's weapon. Defense, defense, defense. It's like a wall! Also, the power you can get on it is devastating. I don't think it would take much of a hit to take someone out...permanently. Pure evil! There are a ton of online resources and even video clips to learn from. It sharpens very easily due the 1050 carbon steel. I was doing the hair shaving test, which I rely on heavily (shorn patches all over my arms and legs), and ended up cutting myself. Ouch! I've never done that before. I'll have to whack the blade on board a couple of times get it "safe" again. Does anyone else have one? What are your thoughts?

I don't have one, but in my experience CS special projects stuff is made for hard use. CS knives leave me unimpressed, but my hawks and battle axe are true "bang for the buck" champions. My warhammer is peerless IMO. Some of these products may require a little modification to reach their full potential, but once there are unbelieveably rugged and useable. Thanks for the write up.
