Cold Steel Prolite Folder

Hey Guys....

Picked up a Cold Steel Prolite folder at Blade....

Nice knife, except I have a couple of Beefs with it...

First off its a righty knife, that can't be flipped over for lefty use....

Don't understand why a company can't spend an extra few minutes, and put a little thought in their knives and make them left hand friendly..

Is this too much to ask ??

Secondly and even more important than left friendly is the bloody liner lock on this thing.. Locks up great,,and I'm sure its a strong lock,,it's just slick as all hell.. The traction on the lock is completely useless...I have to grab the side of the lock with a fingernail to move it over...

Other than those two things I like everything else about the knife...

Anyone else got the same issues ??

Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking about getting one . Now I'll probably pass because I like using my left hand.

Hey WB...

If you like the style of the knife and can get by those issues,, then get the knife...

It's really well made, feels great and blade shape is awesome...

It's just the lock Blows chunks...

I'm going to strip it down and run a checkering file over the liner if it's not too hard...
