Is there any Cold Steel knives that dont say where they're made? I would love to collect Cold Steel, but having the blades say "Taiwan" on them is just such a turnoff.

Although I fear damage to more of the blade. I dont mind getting damage on my blades, but unnecesary damage pisses me off. That, blade play, and "made in" piss me off

Then get one Made in America. BK&T, Ka-Bar, Ontario, etc... :D If it says Made in America or Made in the USA or Made in Olean NY, that shouldn't make you mad right ? :D

^like. Its nice to see someone with patience for a newbie. Im just getting into collecting, and I just joined the forum a few days ago. What about Buck? Are all their products American made? Might be getting the 119 and the 110 from good ol' Santa

Learn to live with it IMO. Some of the best production knives currently are coming out of Taiwan.

Not all Buck is made in USA, but most is. Place of origin is listed for every item on their website. CS has a variety of mall ninja stuff that would be hard to find elsewhere, but you can get Ontario machetes, HB forge or Ft. Turner for tomahawks, etc.

These guys are correct. A fair number of Spydercos are made in Taichung, Taiwan, and are reputed to be among the best fit/finish of Spyderco products...whether there, Seki City, Japan or Golden, Colorado.

Yes some of Spyderco's best are coming out of Taiwan. Check out the Southard Flipper recently released from Spyderco. Made in Taiwan and has gotten overwhelming praise. Now I'm a veteran and am all about products made in the US, but sometimes quality is quality regardless of where it comes from. And from my experience, Spyderco is all about some quality.
