This knife has been sharpened, but it has never been abused. the sheath was damaged by the previous owner(by playing with the knife), but a new sheath is available from ColdSteel for $29.99. The overall condition is 90% but the spine or false edge was sharpened, making this knife a user and not a collector. the steel is AUS8A and it is RAZOR sharp!!! If you look closely in the bottum pic, the top or entry point of the sheath is cut, when pulling the knife out, and turning it, it sliced through the leather, its about a 1/2" slice...this knife is very sharp! The pouch is also removed, as I was going to replace the top peice of leather, just never got around to it. I have alot on my plate right now, and I don't see me getting to it anytime soon. I checked on Coldsteels website, you can buy a replacement sheath for about $30 + shipping. I was gonna give in and do that, but I have my eye on another knife...thanks Gene
