I know alot of people do not like cold steel. Some just have mixed feelings. Me i really like there products and the customer service i recieved. I ordered the rajah 1 and am just blown away at the fit and finish of this large knife. And did i mention the price i got two of them thats right two of them for 159.00 delivered to my door. Thats one to carry and use and one to add to my wall. The lock on this knife feels really good their is no blade wobble or movement from left to right. My only complaint is weight but come on we are talking 6 inches of cutting power with 8 inches of handle so that you can really reach out their. This is the only knife i have bought in a long time that has put a smile on my face like this. This knife is every thing cold steel has said it is and then some.

i hope it is ok to do this i got mine from cold steel special projects catalog they are two for 150 . phone number 18002554716 item number#jf62k and that price is for the rajah one with the g10 and aluminum handles

It's a strong knife for a folder. the thing i like the most about the rajah 1 is you got a 14 inch knife in you pocket that is only 8 inch long when you fold it. I do want the blade to be thicker and using the san mai III instead of the aus 8 - edge will not stand if you hit the knife on metal surface

Its one heck of a folder. Built well, and my Rajah I's all had near perfect fit/finish. I don't carry them much, but one rides in my Maxpedition bag. I also often take one with me when heading out to the woods, for those times when a fixed chopper isn't really required, but some choppin might be needed...

I have a Rajah 1 and I agree that it's very well made knife. The thumb stud also opens the knife amazingly quickly and smoothly when pulled out of a pocket. I would wager it opens as quickly as any Emerson 4" waved CQC folder of which I have a few.
While it may be too big for carrying everywhere, it really is an "in your face" to Cold Steel critics.
