Cold Steel Recon.... 2?

Excellent! in the other thread about re-blade folders, this is what I was thinking about. Except mine was much more involved - new blade, lock bar, backspacer, and the stop pin and the pivot pin for the lock bar all in LC200N and then have the thumb stud, pivot, screws, clip and the lock spring (if possible) DLC coated. So it would be basically a Recon 1 Salt to mix brand names.
 
It's a great idea, just a little outside my wheelhouse at this time. The knife above is a factory Recon 1, just with a bunch of material removed, and a new mark etched in. My mod work essentially consists in revealing the knife within the knife, as it were.
 
Ah, I didnt see the - regrind - under your mark. Getting my hopes up. Well when you do get to wanting to try that much, I will be here (hopefully).
