Cold Steel San Mai III

I am looking a purchasing the Cold Steel San Mai III Magnum 12" tanto as it is the only tanto of this length that I have been able to find. Does anyone own one of these and what do you think of them?

Or if you know of another good tanto or fighting knife with and 11-13" blade I would love to hear about it.

I have this knife in the San Mai III steel and I am very fond of it. It has been a "carry" knife for many years and I have no complaints ... but ... I have not cut a 55 gallon drum in half with it either ... anyway ... I was very impressed with the shape of the handle and pommel of the knife. It is very easy to position the knife around in your hand and between hands which is not apparent by looking at it. This is a very fuctional "close in" knife if you get my meaning. You may want to make your own custom sheath to fit your needs. There are many "tanto" style knives to be had, I think this knife is a Cadillac.
