has anybody tested the shanghai warrior for chopping ability? i know its bad for batoning because the double edge would destroy your baton

It is big enough to chop with but as a fighter it is probably to light. Batoning is not an option with that knife, that much is obvious

It's amateur at best for chopping. Ground too thin, handle ergos are not good for it, and the heft is all wrong. Honestly if you want a good cheap chopper get a cold steel GI tanto over the shanghai. Besides in many states having a dagger blade like the shadow is illegal to possess in public
