Just thought that I would put up a quick post about the great experience I had this weekend stopping by the Cold Steel showroom in Ventura, California. It wasn't a planned stop, just my kid and I popped in on our trip up-state. He absolutely loved the show room set-up and all the knives on display. The sales staff was also very polite and patient with my son. Just wanted to give a thumbs up to Cold Steel!

Cool you visited! I went to the Fall Parking Lot Sale a couple years back and wanted to see the showroom too but it wasn't open. Sale was sweet, though, and I got to meet Lynn Thompson and talk knives for a few minutes. He described a knife that would be coming out (Mackinac, I now realize). Very cool guy; I was pretty stoked. Cold Steel staff was cool, too. :thumbup:
Yeah it was a nice showroom. Not very big, but a very nice display of all that they have to offer, well at least what they can sell in California. The staff was very patient and helpful with my 11 year old. He absolutely loved it! Kid in a candy store? Nah, this kid likes all things sharp. I wonder where he got that from?
