Cold Steel Spartan makes an off sound

It is a slight click at about 15 degrees from closed during the opening of the knife, wonder if anyone can tell me something about this, is it normal or not.

Something to do with the gap in the pivot hole in the lockbar. My Rhino had that. Seems more likely for Tri-ad locks where the lockspring is strong. I actually made some mods to my Rhino to stop this but I do not advise any mods, it's fine as it is, I'm just anal about small things...

That's definitely due to the gap in the pivot pin for the lock bar. It was placed there by design. Nothing wrong with your knife.

No problem. it'll reduce in time as the spring wears a little spot in the lockbar. In the meantime, load sound means the spring strength is still fresh
