Cold Steel Spartan pocket clip question.

Hi I recently bought the spartan and is my first Cold Steel product. I noticed that the pocket clip and its replacement differs from the one on the official site, the one on Cold Steel's site has "cold steel" engraved on it while the one I bought is on plain and has nothing written on it.

The Spartan that I have has a pocket clip that looks like this

But on CS's official site the clip looks like this

Why are the clips different? Do I have a counterfeit knife?
 
I believe that you have an older model Spartan with the bead blast finish. While the one on Cold Steels website shows the new model that has a stonewashed finish. So no, I do not believe you have a fake knife. But I wouldn't be to concerned unless you brought it from a shady source.
 
I have an older model Spartan with the blank pocket clip, pretty much what Eric said, you probably don't have a counterfeit Spartan, as I've never seen a counterfeit one yet. That Spartan is one of the toughest pocket knives in the world.
 
You have the older one with beadblast, the new one's have a stonewash with a cooler clip so everyone knows you've got a Cold Steel.
 
I have the same Spartan as you. But when did they start stone washing the Spartan!? I just took the bead blast off my Spartan and sanded it to a satin.
