Cold Steel SRK tang?

Does anybody know what kind of tang the SRK has? Ive been considering removing the rubber grip to add slabs or a cord wrap, but it would suck if I didnt find a full tang under it.

It is a full tang but it is only about 1 cm wide. It was like that on my recon tanto too.

someone had a picture where the rubber grip of the SRK was removed...

If we could only find out which firefighter from New Jersey had it...
