Hello,

I have recently purchased the Cold Steel Tiger Claw and it's an awsome knife.
I've just realized that, while it is ground on both sides, it is only sharpened on one side and I've wanted to ask if anyone can tell me what the purpose behind this is. I don't consider it a flaw in any way, I'm just curious.

I don't know if anyone knows for sure why they're doing them this way. :D The Black Talon 2 is made the same way. The only other popular and commonly seen knives that immediately come to mind that are ground this way (primary grind on both sides, edge bevel only on one side) are certain models by Emerson Knives. You can check out their site and see the reasons they give for using this particular grind. I'm not sure I'm really convinced there's any particular advantage to doing it this way, but I (like you) don't see it as a big deal one way or the other.
