Cold Steel Torpedo

yes end over end let it slide from your hand. Alternatively, I have seen someone talk about using long (10") nails and he tried throwing them like a spear or football. Unorthodox but he got good results. Try both ways, the torpedo is damned sturdy, you are not likely to break it.

since it seems really heavy, you could probably get some really powerful 0 rotation over hand swings out of it... I suck with throwers, so 0 rotation throws are the only kind I can stick with any amount of power, but up to 15 feet distance I can throw them full power and stick them with about 90% accuracy.

the torpedo always looked like fun....
