The C.S. torpedo looks awesome but I never have heard a review of it. I have been thinking about getting it but won't someone's opinion of first. Does anyone own one and are willing to share their opinion of it?

It's probably one of the few throwers that I have yet to break.

The only thing is, it is going to seriously chew up your throwing targets, so you might have to look for a good supply of them. Outside of that. Go for it.

I have one. For the money its a lot of fun. I had a very amusing time destroying an old coffee table with it. Be sure to have a sturdy backstop as it goes right through sheets of plywood if it hits point on. I also appreciate how its fairly indestructible.

I still have one question. If the points on the torpedo get dull how do you sharpen them?

I just sharpen my throwing knives on a grinder. I'm guessing it'd be almost the same process. I like more of a blunt sharp tip than a slender needle tip.

It doesn't take that long if you place either the file or object in a vice. Makes it much easier to sharpen.

I have a small, rather cheap wet grinder I used to re-sharpen the points on mine, after it went through many, many sheets of plywood, sheet rock, and anything else that needed destroying. Quite satisfying after a hard day's work.
