Cold Steel Trail Master Is It FAKE?

I have this Trail Master and some have suggested it may be a fake.It seems really nice with the box and all and is marked Cold Steel,but not a type of steel.It is also marked China.It seems to me a fake would be marked with a more desirable origin.Were these even made in China for Cold Steel?It has a nice black coating and a razor sharp edge.If its a counterfeit,its a darn nice one.I googled around a bit and didn't find a China made T.M.Anyone know how i can tell?

They were made in China for a period before production moved to Taiwan. You might want to check with the people on the Cold Steel forum to determine if is a fake or not.

I have a carbon v made in usa and a SK-5 made in china with black blade. From what I hear the china made is great!
