Photos Cold Steel Trail Master SMIII and Fallkniven Modern Bowie

I've got the Fallkniven Modern Bowie but no Trailmaster. It's quite the bowie and 7mm thick as well not sure about the TM thickness though. Have you done any testing between the two? The MB does come with an Awesome leather sheath and sharpening stone and case. I may part with mine as it just sits in the safe mostly now. I'm thinking I may work a trade for a nice 4max or some other CS products. :D
 
I have both, and while I like the concept of the MB handle, and it is pretty comfortable overall, for me the front finger groove is a bit too fat...if it was cut a little deeper it would feel more secure.

I do like how the MB has the exposed tang pommel for hammering. Always thought the TM and Recon Scout should have something like that.

The blade thickness in the pics looks the same, but the published specs are 5/16" (7.9mm) for the TM, and 7.4mm for the MB.
 
I've also got the Tor and it's blade looks more like the Trailmaster, with the MB being wider, taller than the Tor or Tm. Their all great blades though.
