hey guys which is stronger the ram lock or the triad lock? and would you recommend the cold steel pocket bushman? I really like the steel so it's manly about the lock. what do you think?

The Tri Ad will be stronger, and probably more reliable. Both will be more than enough for EDC though, unless you like to baton through wood with your folder, but even the Tri Ad won't take that kind of stuff forever.

I would stay away from the Pocket Bushman, you have to be really careful not to cut your hand when unlocking that knife.

Tri-ad.
I've never heard of it failing, whereas I've seen videos of the RAM messing up and falling apart even (but still not failing).
So, strength is good in both, but issues on the RAM.

I have both. I love the Pocket Bushman. Really, it is a great design.

I have never really had any concern with the safety of the design.

I am not convicned the Triad lock is any stronger. I have seen some amazing abuse given the pocket bushman.

Like I said, I have both, and for an outdoor knife, I like the Pocket Bushman better. The grind is better for "outdoors" work.

Simple, thin. You can open it one handed if you learn how (there are three ways that I use).

The only failures of the ram lock I have seen were either the original design flaw (since fixed) or a 3 lb sledge hammer induced failure.
