Cold steel triple Action

Hey everyone.

My brand new cold steel triple action just arrived on my doorstep. but i have a problem.

Can't open the damn thing!! :(

If anyone knows how this works.....I've got the top handle open (easy).

But when i push on the thumb stud to rotate the blade out....it's just too damn tight, won't come out.

Any help here?

I think there was a recent thread about this...according to it the blade actually cuts into the soft handle.
 
If the stud is protruding enough you can try catching it on the edge of a counter and pulling down, but for gods sake be careful, if their was ever a knife that will lay you open and leave your fingers on the ground figuring it out it's that one in a double edge.

Better yet send it back and have them send you one that will open correctly.;)

i might be wrong, but i think they have very crappy service
 
It is all in the wrist...first you push the thumb stud to the left and push the stud on the blade up and to the right. Once you get that part down, you will be able to do it automatically.
 
Bench one sounds a good idea - perhaps the knife just needs some breaking in?

P.S - I've got the Single Edge Version ;)

Just simply losen the pivot screw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
