Just received two twistmasters I got on Ebay - one clip point and one drop point in the extra large size. Both are in new condition and I can't say how impressed I am with these knives. They're light, feel very strong and came out of the boxes shaving sharp. I think they'll make great knock around utility knives. Any one else have one? What is your experience - how have they stood up to use?

I have an extra large Twistmaster with a black-coated blade and a swapped-out, modified bolster lock in 6AL-4V titanium that I made myself. I really like the USA-made Carbon V blade, the light weight of the handles, and the surprisingly robust lock design. For its price, it's an excellent knife---perhaps an old school counterpart to the "Wal Mart" Native by Spyderco. It's not a bad knife at all, a good Americanized version of France's famous Opinel.

Got a few when they were discontinued. Gave some away and kept a couple. Everyone has liked the steel and found the durability good. A very comfortable handle.
