Not sure how I'm going to do this exactly but I'll re read the owners hopes and go from there when I get to it. He wants it sharpened on the spine which I can probably do with a small edge but looking it over closely I'm wondering to myself how much retention in this kydex sheath is related to the thickness of the blade.
My fear here is that if I thin it down too much along the spine that the sheath will no longer work.

my $0.02: maybe you don't need to sharpen the entire spine - if the sole pupose of the knife is sd, it should be enough to sharpen the spine half way from the tip - this way the sheath will work as is

naymit has the same idea i had. i saw that you had received my knife at lunch and thought about it and came up with the idea of sharpening about half of the spine. naymit beat me to it. let me know if you think that will work, and how much i need to pay you.

Got this to shave paper pretty well for you. Its not half bad. Not sure what to charge you. It was mostly a fairly straight forward job. I think its what you were wanting. I tried to make sure it was done in such a way to keep from grinding into the writing. Pics don't do it justice though. It works and cuts pretty good.

I need your address again. Thanks.
