I like the looksof this knife. Any feedback? It has a serrated edge. What are your thoughts on that issue?

I once had the CS version with a plain edge 4" blade. It was solidly built, and sharp as hell. The Vaquero Grande with the 6" blade is a beast. I considered getting it when they made the blade with AUS8 steel. I'm not sure what it's available in now.

The only downside for me is the blade, if I'm not mistaken, is only available with a fully serrated edge. My preference right now would be for a plain edge blade.

Locks are strong, relatively light weight, blades are easy to sharpen and hold a decent edge. Essentially, a real good value. I posted a reply on Self Defense Forums to a similar question about the like-handled and -locked Cold Steel Gunsite (Voyager). I can't find the exact link, but it's posted under there over "General Weapons Discussion" if you're interested. I don't want to rant about it again. Sometimes I EDC a Cold Steel Voyager X2 (with the six-inch blade), and it's a very nice knife for about $60. I recommend it.

God bless you, America, and our men and women overseas.
