Cold Steel Video?

Just watched the Cold Steel "More Proof" DVD.
The cutting ability is noted, but user strength would make a big
difference. The weight demo on the locks are impressive!!
But when they started cutting hanging meat with the knives and especially swords, my wife stopped watching. I'll have to admit that
part was a,,,should I say "over kill". I really didn't care for that
either,,,,,,,but so what!
Question? Are other knive locks this strong? Since I've never cared to
try that on my own knife!!
The only Cold Steel knife I'm interested in are the Recon models?
But to me they are just another knife in the desplay case?
Any comments from other on Cold Steel and video?

Anyway my opinion is this:

Proof videos are hype, a marketing tool. CS does not generally use premium materials. Buy a CS and if you like it great, but the knife should stand on it own after you have used it yourself.
