Cold Steel Voyager AUS10 steel Tanto Large version---out of stock or discontinued???

You know, it's very strange that I have not been able to find a Cold Steel Voyager AUS10 steel Tanto Large version in a long time. Amazon has been out of stock forever, and I can't find them for sale anywhere. I have the clip point in the same size, and I love it! Now, I'm just trying to get my hands on the Tanto version, which I would like to buy at my leisure, but I'm beginning to wonder what is going on. I mean, these are very popular, very good quality and affordable knives. The ratings for these knives are 5 stars across the board, but how can Cold Steel still be out of stock??? Is it possible that they have discontinued this model??? It doesn't make sense to me that they would do that given how popular they are, but this is the same Cold Steel company that discontinued their Cold Steel Mini Recon 1 line of knives as well, so you never know. I have no idea why they discontinued the mini Recons, and I just hope that they are not already discontinuing these Cold Steel Voyagers because they are great knives. If anyone has any information on what's going on with this product, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
 
A lot of reasons that it would be out of stock for a while.

The company changed hands.
The knife is made in Taiwan. It takes a while to get a new batch.
Wuhan virus is affecting everything.
There has been an escalated demand for the top sellers of Cold Steel knives. People are hoarding, so items are out of stock.

I don't believe that it is discontinued or it would state that on their website.

Thanks for the reply. I neglected to mention that people on ebay were selling a couple of these knives claiming they have been discontinued. That, plus the fact that I couldn't find any mainstream retailer selling this item concerned me. However, it is quite common for people on ebay to lie about an item's availability. So, I'm sure you're right, it's probably just that Cold Steel is out of stock at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised if these items jumped up in price based on their popularity and perceived scarcity. With that being said, Cold Steel has done a good job keeping their knives relatively inexpensive. I hope they continue to do so.
 
These models are out of stock all the time because they are popular. It took me a while to find a couple of the Voyager models in stock, as well as some of the Recon 1 models and the 4-Max Scout. Restocking at retailers from Cold Steel has been slow in the last few months, I’m sure they’ll be back in stock in a few weeks or so.
 
Found them in stock pretty quickly. Hint- Smokey Mt. (PM me if you can't figure out the hint. I would just say it but I don't think they support BF)

Let me know if you find a Recon 1 XL tanto. They are scarce.

Thanks! Have they discontinued the Recon 1 XL tanto? I had one and had to sell it at the time.
 
Not sure if the Recon 1 Tanto XL has been discontinued or not, but, I have not seen one for sale in quite a while.
 
XL Talwar and Holdout have been reintroduced , so maybe others will too , someday .
