Hey guys, I just needed to ask real quick if there is any way to maybe smooth out the handle of the cold steel voyager. It's kinda scraping up the pockets on some of my pants and it doesn't come out too easily. Anyway I could easily run really fine grit sand paper of it to take the peaks of those small iron crosses. Would that ruin the look? I'm looking for a fairly simple solution. Thanks in advance.

Take off the pocket clip, lightly sand the surface under where the clip presses against the clip, reattach the clip.

Works for all Cold Steel Grivory and G10 handles with a grippy pattern.

I traced the clip with a pencil so I wouldn't sand beyond the clip area. I also GENTLY bent the clip (while attached) a TINY BIT, with a cloth wrapped flathead screw driver. I gently sanded with a THIN strip (width of the clip) of BLACK colored, 3M medium grit (for metal) emery cloth. I roughly wiped down the sanded are with a wet wash cloth and I really can't see a sanding mark. Worked perfectly for multiple Voyagers and an American Lawman!

This. I have done it several times. Five minutes and its done.

Similarly I taped the area outside the clip, removed the clip, used a dremel tool to buff the area where the clip touches the handle. I lightly buffed the handle, just enough to smooth the peaks a little. I then bent the clip a little before reattaching it. I had to bend the clip a time or two to get an acceptable level of tension. The slightly buffed area is under the clip and not visible with the clip on.

Let us know how you fix yours and how it worked for you.
