Is anyone going to the cold steel parking lot sale on May 14, 15? has anyone been before? What about the throwing contest in Sept.
 
I suppose I could stop by. It's only, like, 9hrs away from me. I wouldn't mind picking up a factory second katana at a reasonable price. I thought about going to that throwing/fighting even last year, but it seemed like a lot of money to fight with LARP swords. Although the throwing may be decent.
Put me down for a definate "Maybe" on both counts.
 
I'm going for sure. It's only 10 minutes from my house. This will be the first time I've gone.
 
as of today I have the folowing CS products:
mini tac, tanto
kobun, tanto
spike , tanto
med voyager
frontier hawk
heavy machete

if I was to get another CS product it would be another machete
 
I'm also exploring the possibilty, about an hour and a half's drive away.
Getting some beater knives and a couple of knice knives.

I'd like to go see this event but I live too far away.tom.
 
I'm going and I want to get a fixed blade, but I think I would rather get the crkt abc operator, but I'm undecided. any help?
 
I hate to say it because at one time I actually liked Cold Steal's products, but I would rather go with the CRKT ABC Operator. It's all about CRKT's lifetime warranty as opposed to Cold Steal's 5 year warranty. Plus, CRKT isn't in the knockoff business.
