  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I would like to garner as many opinions as possible about Cold Steel tantos.I bought one basically out of curiosity as to how it would stand up against a more purpose built (Swamp Rat camptramp) knife for basic tasks. The knife is like new, factory edge intact and was acquired through a friend at a great price.I am not gonna feel crushed or stupid if someone wants to knock it.It has a 6 inch blade and material is San Mai 3.I appreciate any feedback gentlemen!

In my past experience with Cold Steel, I think they make great knives. I just don't personally like the tanto blade for practical purposes but they are good, well made knives for what they are. I like their Trailmaster, SRK, Master Hunter, and Recon Scout. If you got a great deal and you like the looks of the knife then I think you'll be happy with it.
