Cold Steel's 1055

I have five items in 1055: Hudson Bay hawk, Frontier hawk, True Flight Thrower, and 18" and 12" Barong Machetes. For a cheap carbon steel, I think they are pretty fantastic. They are easy to sharpen, durable, and the temper seems just right. I use them for wood processing, and the edges have never rolled or chipped. They take a beating and they ask for more.

How do you like your 1055 Cold Steel?

Does anyone know if the Special Forces Shovel is also 1055?
