Your best bet to get the most information is to try the search function. It'll give you alot more than you can get in a single thread.
That said, I think you'll find it to be a good cheap fixed blade.

Not the world's best knife, but maybe the best knife for the buck. It's an excellent field knife for $15-20.
Welcome to the forums.

As my fellow forumites pointed out, a good field knife for the money. A couple of things I really like about this field knife is that with the hollow handle, you can pack it with all kinds of nifty emergency stuff. Also, I particulary like having the option of a spear in the field. The tapered hollow handle allows it to fit snugly on a shaft. You never know when you'll need it.

Up near the top right-hand corner of this page is a series of dark colored buttons. (By the MIA picture). One of these is labeled search. When you do the search you'll find Bushman is a common word. If you only have it search titles you'll find quite a few about the bushman, but you may find more info in threads talking about best knives for the money.

Here is a link to a typical thread:

one of the best knive I've ever buyed for under 20$! It's inexpensive, VERY sharp, easy to resharpen, light, strong and versatile. Mounted on a piece of wood it make a fun spear to throw with. It make a great blade stocked in a survival pack. Buy them both you won't regret.

I had an interior decorator ask me for an "African Knife", as she was doing a special job for a client with a taste for that look. Now every real African knife I have ever seen looks like junk. But I came across the big one offered by Cold Steel, ordered a couple, figuring I could at least E-bay the extra one... but I liked it. And, like another poster here, I keep it in the truck as an emergency /hard-user item.

The decorator was thrilled. Exactly what she wanted. And once I found out her going rate for spending other people's money, I multiplied the cost of said knife by 6. I dare say that is the most expensive Bushman ever sold.

Thank You very much for the response's. This is the first forum I have joined and don't know much about posting and such, but I,ll get a handle on doing things properly soon. I thought the bushman would be a good knife for the money, and now I,m sure of it. one will go in my "go bag" as well as my wife's. Thank You for the welcome's to the forum. I like the blade for the same reason's stated by the replies.
From what I,ve read, I can learn alot from this forum.
