I happened to be looking at the Cold Steel online catalogue and I saw the following: http://www.coldsteel.com/88hbh.html I was wondering if any of you had seen, let alone played with this sword. It is quite apparently a schiavona sword in all but the pommel and these have a certain appeal to me.

It looks like a really nice double edged sword. With a relatively simple basket, pommel and just a little over three pounds...nice combination.

Hey Hugh,
It seems like someone over at myarmoury might have messed with one and had some comments. I would recommend a search or a question over there. To be honest I think that there are probably better shciavonas including ones with better pommels available for that money or just a little more. Armour Class and Del Tin both come to mind.
