Did anyone read the critiques in the new Cold Steel catalog? I found the one about the karambit to be fairly well balanced. While taking a "well, it's better than nothing" stance, the author (Mr. Thompson, I'm assuming) went out of his way to mention as many positives about the knife that he could. They could just as well have had their folks in China, Japan, Taiwan, or USA crank out fixed-blade or folding kerambits and got in on the craze, but chose not to and stated their reasons why. I appreciated that.
