cold Steels new folder..got one?

Just sitn' looking at the 2010 CS catalog ...:rolleyes:
has anyone put the hands on one of there new folders called the "counter point II" ??
looks like a nice little folder with a Italian flair to it , any fedback before i go looking to buy one....
 
Perhaps I am mistaken, but I don't think they ever produced it...

The Counter Point II has been CANCELLED because the shipments did not meet our delivery schedule requirements. All backorders will be CANCELLED and the Counter Point II will be reintroduced in Spring 2011. We will have more information on the 2011 Counter Point II at a later date

Oh bummer I was actually looking forward to that knife since I first got my catalog. It struck me as similar to an al mar SERE but it has the tri-ad lock. I was planning on making some g-10 scales for it. Bad news...
 
bummer also.............kind of liked the style and size.........have to keep up on these things a bit better...as above ...it sure would be a nice style to upgrade the scales on...
 
I like the look of the Counterpoint as well. I'm surprised that they only offered it with a 3 inch blade. Cold Steel usually goes big. Hopefully they'll offer it in a couple of sizes when it comes out in 2011.
