I need some help identifing a Kershaw knife I've had for a while. I tried to do research on the web but have not been able to find any info on it, I contacted The Kershaw Store but they could not find anything either. The knife has an OAL of 8.5 in., the blade is 3.5 in., it's a lock back, the blade has number 1320 Italy stampaed on it,has a wood and brass handle. If anyone can tell me the model name, number and what it's value would be, I would greatly thank you. Also if you know what the value for a Kershaw "Good Buddy" 2001 is, again thanks. I have pictures of it but don't know how to insert them, this is my first time here.

Hey piscosour,
It will be much easier for the Kershaw nuts to help you out if you can post some pics. Go to photobucket.com and register for a free account, then download your pics to that. From there, right click on the "direct link" info line from photobucket and copy the url info. Then make a post here on the forums and click on the "insert image" icon above where you are typing the body of your post. Paste the url info from photobucket into the right spot and hit enter.

Some can explain it better than me, but that's a start.

Looking forward to seeing your knives.

Jon

Sounds like a question for Super Dave or GG. What is the handle made of? Pics might help some of us, but I'd bet SD or GG can nail it from what you've posted.

BTW, Welcome to the forms!

The 1320 was the largest of the set of three knives made in Italy for kershaw, 1305,1310 and 1320, they could be purchased separately or as a set. They were called the "Maniago Series" That model today is probably in the $35-$45 range, without pulling out the catalogs , I would guess 1992 or so. The company that made them is still making knives I believe, the name escapes me though. These are collectable , but not highly sought after, that is why they don't have a higher value. The 2001 would sell for around $45 in mint condition.

Thanks guys for all your help,Kershawguy is right about the year, it was the early '90s when i bought it from the Snap On truck. I didn't know that it's a collectable. I was doing some digging on the web and was surprised to find that my my 22 cal pistol knife is also a collectable and it's worth 3X what I paid for it in the late '80s. I also have the Alaskan blade trader,Elk hunter,Wild Turkey,Wildcat Ridge,Sea Hunter,Good Buddy. I love my Kershaws. Will be adding to the collection soon, thanks again.

piscosour2007,
