Hey, quick question -
Does anyone have an idea of how long I can leave gasoline in my Coleman lantern? I've realized that I've had some in there for quite a while and I know gas left in cars for too long can go bad.

Thanks
Steve

I wouldn't leave gasoline in for more than a couple of months. I've never used any of Colemans dual fuel products but I've seen plenty of damage done to engines by todays gasoline. I've also seen a few Coleman products screwed up beyond repair by people thinking they could put regular gasoline in them.

I don't know I would say a year if treated with fuel stabilizer. We keep a fuel stabilizing additive in our chain saws and generators at the fire department and they will sit for a year or more before we use them and will work fine.
