Coleman Pro Lock multitool..

anybody seen one? Got two on hand and can't believe it was discontinued.This is unique as the tools snap out from both side of the handle to be used independently from the main handles that has a large pliers. Each side has one blade each,serrtaed on one and plain on the other. When I bought this, Coleman had promised more tools to add but they were discontinued. Anybody know if they ever made more?Comes with a sheath that has an extra pouch for additional tool. Too bad!!

The original packaging talked about "watch for additional tool cartridges in the future" but I never saw any. I heard through the grapevine that Coleman had to discontinue production of the Pro Lock due to patent infringement issues.
Bummer.

It is not a samll tool but very well designed!About 1 1/2 x !/2 x 4 1/2. By the way, tools can be used without snapping it out. That store still has it. Buy one, you'll like it.

I found a web site that has better pictures. Check 'em out. The whole idea of removable cartridges to hold the blades and screwdrivers was a great idea.

Pictures look pretty crappy, though. Tool is really well made except tool do not lock.

It was/is a pretty neat design concept , I wish that it had been seen through with the additional cartriges .
