This is my current group of stoves. Big ones are 426A and 426E. The others are 425, 425B, 425 E (2), 425F and a 424. I want to get a 502 single burner next.

Hey! Your blocking my view of your doll collection!
I could care less about the stoves....:D

On another note, those stoves look heavy, do you mainly use them for
car camping and the like?

You could start your own Doll and Stove Show! I have three Coleman's myself. I just can't pass them up if the price is right. I think I have a touch of hoarder syndrome :(

I got all those and three lanterns for a total of $135. All work except the 228F from 71. All the stoves work fine. I just had to clean them REAL good. I am hoping to trade one or two of them for a single burner 502. After that i want to get a 530 military style.
Here's the lanterns.

I have one like the bottom row left, on top.

Great stoves, I got mine well used about 7 years ago and works great. I burn unleaded in mine, needs a little priming.

These are certainly car camp stoves. I am not humping this thing on my back.

Wow. I didn't realise that there were so many different varieties. I picked mine up at Goodwill for 10 bucks. One of my best thrift store scores ever. It can't be beat for car camping. In fact, the apartment I'm living in now is all electric, and I hate electric stoves, so the Coleman is actually better than what I have at home, as far as I'm concerned.

You are as bad about the stoves as I am with their lanterns. One of their neatest lanterns is the Kerosene version. It works exactly the same with the exception of the pre-heat.

I have a couple and the newest one is probably 20 -25 years old and the oldest is probably 35 to 40 years old.
Both work almost as good as new and I haven't even had to replace the leather washer on either pump yet if you can believe that. They will last forever as long as you can keep them from rusting out. Great for hurricane survival equipment and have been used several times for extended power outages after hurricanes besides the regular camping usage.

Where do you locate the model numbers?

"Coleman stove" has become a generic classic name for those type stoves like "Buck knife" is for the Buck 110.

My dad used to buy all kinds of Coleman lanterns and stoves a few years back. They are all gone now, as the trailer they were in exploded. He used to come home with them all the time on the weekend after his early morning trips to the store.

I have one that's 16 years old. Never fails. They are huge and not ultra light, but are easily comfortable to carry and nice for fishing and hunting day trips or car camping.

The fuel last forever. Don't have a bunch of empty cans of propane cans. One gallon of kerosene is only 9 bucks. Also great for blackouts and such because i know i just have to go to the garage and have a 2 burner whenever i need it.

Its odd to think that people now drinks water out of aluminum fuel cans and bring disposable butane cans around.
