I found a box of these in some old gear. they are 7-8years old took them outside and struck a few. they still lit good. Stuck the box in my pocket and went about doing the chores. Today my wife handed me the box and announced they went threw the washer . Now let's see if they work???? every one struck but only half pruduced a flame , but doubled up striking 2 at a time I got a usable flame every time although not perfect I could still get a fire going with these after a serious soaking wet box still struck them too.

how long did the flame last? Was it a quick ignition and then off, or did it have enough time to start the gradual travel up yonder match head?

Struck single about half were on and out . struck double they lit and burned as normal for 2 matches. these went threw a new spin the crap out of everything washer
