Mick, in another thread there was talk about a joint project with Gunting. I previously had a Buck-Strider Mini. I want a fixed blade, and I had considered the Buck Solution.

How much of these knives are 'Buck,' and how much is 'Strider'? Do you do any Q/C before the knives are shipped?

(BTW, I've decided on a EB-S. I figure you know more about 'Striders' than Buck!)

IP: The Strider name on the blade makes it more Strider then Buck. The story if I remember right was that Buck came to Mick and Duane and asked about the collaberation. Strider decided it was good for them to get the name out to the general public. They have total control of design and quality. The knives are designed by the boys and made by Buck; in quantity they are still the most expensive knives Buck sells. That is because they use the materials specified by Strider.Hope this helps.

We have control of the overall design and materials.

We DO NOT QC any Buck parts.

That’s their job…

Mick
