Collect all the lefty Umnumzaans?

Has anyone ever tried to collect all the versions of the Umnumzaan? This is kind of a goal I have set for myself. I am focusing on all lefty's. I currently have 2 each of the regular and startac new pivot versions. Over time I am hoping to collect a tanto new pivot and old pivot versions of all of these knives. Has anyone tried to do this before? If so I'd love to see some pics for inspiration!
 
Well, since I know where you got some from, I'm always looking for any CRK lefty. I think in due time you'll be able to accomplish the collection, but you have to be fast, they seem to go as soon as they're listed. I'll keep an eye open for you.
 
I believe there are 9. Regular, Wilson Combat, and tanto from TNK. There are the new pivot versions and old pivot versions with and without the LBS.

Good luck on your quest brother. Lefty any CRK's seem hard to come by. I have been stalking TNK daily with a zeal that approaches obsession. I want tanto lefty anything severely.

Add:
- Idaho Made / not marked
- S30V vs. S35VN.

Obviously not all versions came with both of each of those... ;)
 
haha, ok ok, maybe not ALL the possible versions. :eek: But you get the idea of what I am trying to accomplish. Now if I can just find any of them!
 
I had two prototypes at one time, nearly snagged a third.

Also had one of the first two CRK with S35VN, the splash annodized Umnumzaan.

So far I have found two; a regular model with no lbs and a tanto with no lbs. Both were from a very nice forum member but didn't have anything to do with this thread. I have many others that I'd like to collect, including both of the ones I have now, except with the lbs. I would really love to find a Star-Tac. Heck, I'd even like to find a new pivot tanto.....those seem to be fairly rare right now.

Was this something that Southard and CRK collaborated on? I have seen them before for the umnumzaan and sebenza 21's. To be honest it just looks like something my local machine shop could make pretty easily. Is there something about it that I'm missing? I'm not too sure I would want to put something like this on knives that almost never come up for sale. Besides, I'm not sure I would be able to find the correct shade of lipstick to put on it.
