1997 Bluegrass Cutlery ( made by Queen ) Family Tree Cutlery Trapper Series, "STANDARD KNIFE CO." :
There were only 100 produced of the Rogers bone, STANDARD KNIFE CO. Trapper.
You could put this one away as a collector piece......or if you were looking for something a bit extraordinary for pocket carry this would be just the ticket. The fit, finish, and "snap" on this one is very nice.....I hand picked this for my collection back in 1998 ! The Knife is MINT. Also, it's worth noting that the color of the Rogers bone scales have a very handsome red quality, when held up to the light.
These were distributed without a box....comes wrapped in tissue.[/FONT]

1997 Bluegrass Cutlery ( made by Queen ) Family Tree Cutlery Trapper Series, "STANDARD KNIFE CO." :
- 1997 USA produced Family Tree of Cutlery Trapper Series pattern.
- Made in the 1990's when Jim Parker owned the trademark. (Case markets the Family Tree of Cutlery names on knives currently produced by them in Bradford, PA. This knife was made by Queen for Blue Grass Cutlery ....and is more collectible.)
- 4 1/8" closed, featuring razor-sharp, mirror polished blades ( master Clip and spey )....tang reads "STANDARD KNIFE CO. U.S.A." on the the Clip blade and is date stamped with 1997 on the other side.
- Manufactured by Queen in 1997 for Blue Grass Cutlery, famous for the Case Classics knives........with just the same level of attention to detail.
- Typical Queen quality :
Pinned scales are jigged Rogers bone.
Bolsters and unique pinned "Arrowhead Shield" shield are Nickel- Silver.
